MC-TV’s Advisor , Chris Goble, and numerous MC-TV students have created award winning documentaries and video programming.  Most are available on our You-tube page , our old Programs Page, or our old website’s Episode Archive.

In 2012, we produced “Love, Marriage and Family: Traditionally?” a documentary that looks at the issue of gay marriage thru the lives of two couples.  The film was selected for the Your Normal LGBTQ Film Festival in Normal, IL.

In 2010, this MC-TV documentary told the story of one homeless person in rural Western Illinois. Thru her story we see the special challenges that confront those individuals who find themselves homeless in area with limited services.

In 2007, we told the story of the over 100 year old pottery business in Monmouth Illinois.  This documentary won the Award of Excellence from the Broadcast Education Association, 2nd place in the Student Film category of the American Motion Picture Society yearly awards, and the People’s Choice Award from the Black Earth Film Festival.
